WLE Fellowship First Training


Water Land and Eco system (WLE) is a group of organisations that are champion in capacity building.

The Ayeyarwady WLE training programme is funded by CGIAR under its Water Land and Ecosystems programme Greater Mekong and Australian government. The project is led by UNESCO-IHE in close consultation with ARBRO, with support of Myanmar partners DWIR and MT, and International partners TUD, IUCN an NARBO of the Japan Water Agency.

It is a tailor-made training  programme; an interactive way of coaching by experienced water professionals. The project aims to provide a focused and sustainable contribution to strengthening capacities of key Myanmar water related organisations, water professionals and individuals to contribute to inclusive water and ecosystem services governance and management of the Ayeyarwady River Basin
